The Vitória Coffee Trade Center (CCCV) and ES Gás, the utility responsible for distributing natural gas and biomethane in Espírito Santo, announced this Saturday (11/29) an unprecedented partnership to promote a new standard of sustainability, efficiency, and quality in coffee production in the state. The announcement took place during the International Conilon Coffee Fair (FICC) in Jaguaré, in northern Espírito Santo.
The initiative was developed in response to growing demand in national and international markets for more sustainable, traceable, and competitive production chains. Modernizing the drying process—an essential step to preserving coffee quality—is currently one of the main challenges for producers in Espírito Santo, especially in regions that still use firewood as an energy source.
